Frequently Asked Questions

Question 8:  Why do I need to have four different pictures of each child?

Answer:  Identakey recommends four different pictures so you have several perspectives of your child's appearance.  We recommend a straight forward shot with your child looking as they do on an average day and a second shot, taken from the same angle, with hair pulled back, or perhaps wearing a hat.  If they wear glasses remove them for the second photo.  We also recommend two profile shots: one with your child smiling and the other shot not smiling.  Changing the simple things about a child can make an abductor, or a runaway child feel that they have become invisible and can go places unnoticed.  By taking these variables into account when you take photos for your Identakey you can help those on the lookout see your child in different lights.
